Job summary

CHUAN LUCK PILING & CONSTRUCTIONS SDN BHD is seeking an experienced QS Admin in Senai, Johor. The role focuses on managing project costs, contracts, and financial aspects throughout the construction lifecycle to keep projects within budget while upholding quality and contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities include preparing bills of quantities, monitoring costs, reviewing contractor submissions, managing variations, and conducting site measurements.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent discipline (such as a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Experience in piling works or foundation projects is highly desirable
• Fresh grads are welcomed to apply!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage bill of quantities for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Monitor project costs and expenditure, providing regular financial reports and forecasts to project management teams
• Review and analyse contractor submissions, quotations, and claims for accuracy and compliance with contract terms
• Manage contract documentation and variations, ensuring all changes are properly documented and approved
• Conduct site visits and measurements to verify work progress and quantities completed
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgetary proposals for new projects
• Process and reconcile invoices and payment applications from contractors
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients to resolve cost-related queries and disputes
• Maintain comprehensive records of project costs, contracts, and financial documentation
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards throughout project delivery.
