Qualifications

• Qualified in Quantity Surveying (diploma or degree).
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Experience in piling works or foundation projects is desirable.

We are seeking an experienced QS Admin to join us in Senai, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our contracts management operations. As a QS Admin, you will be responsible for managing project costs, contracts, and financial aspects throughout the construction lifecycle. This role is integral to ensuring projects remain within budget whilst maintaining quality standards and contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage bill of quantities for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Monitor project costs and expenditure, providing regular financial reports and forecasts to project management teams
• Review and analyse contractor submissions, quotations, and claims for accuracy and compliance with contract terms
• Manage contract documentation and variations, ensuring all changes are properly documented and approved
• Conduct site visits and measurements to verify work progress and quantities completed
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgetary proposals for new projects
• Process and reconcile invoices and payment applications from contractors
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients to resolve cost-related queries and disputes
• Maintain comprehensive records of project costs, contracts, and financial documentation
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards throughout project delivery.

What we're looking for

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent discipline (such as a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Experience in piling works or foundation projects is highly desirable
