Job summary

ECOBUILT CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. invites an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Subang Jaya team.

This full-time role focuses on managing project costs, budgets and commercial aspects to keep projects financially viable while delivering quality. You will prepare cost estimates and tender documents, source materials, negotiate with suppliers, monitor expenditures, and provide reports on progress and final accounts, working with project teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in quantity surveying within construction.
• Expertise in cost estimation, budget management and financial forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, variations and claims management.
• Proficiency with quantity surveying software and MS Office.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Malaysian construction practices, regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Possess a degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
• Demonstrated expertise in cost estimation, budget management and financial forecasting on construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including understanding of contract conditions, variations and claims management
• Proficiency with quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels of project teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Knowledge of Malaysian construction practices, regulations and industry standards is highly advantageous
