Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead tendering, cost control and contract administration on water infrastructure projects. You will manage cost estimates, Bills of Quantities, tender evaluations and commercial risk assessments with accuracy and timeliness.
Responsibilities include sourcing quotations, negotiating terms, administering subcontract agreements, and producing final accounts while ensuring contract compliance and robust documentation across the
Manage tender administration, including preparation and submission of tender documents, cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender evaluations and commercial risk assessments.
Source and evaluate quotations, negotiate commercial terms and administer subcontract agreements, purchase orders and procurement activities.
Oversee project cost control, budgets, cash flow, progress claims, variation orders (VO), extension of time (EOT) claims and final accounts.
Prepare valuations, cost analyses and account settlements, while ensuring contract compliance and proper commercial documentation.
Provide contractual and commercial support to project teams, and manage claims, disputes and contract-related issues.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Building Technology.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry (water infrastructure projects).
Strong knowledge of tendering, procurement, cost planning, contract administration, claims, variation orders, final accounts and standard forms of contract.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and familiar with Microsoft Project.
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
