You will prepare cost estimates, manage subcontractor and supplier contracts, monitor project expenditure, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ)
Prepare, evaluate, and administer subcontractor and supplier quotations, tenders, and contracts
Verify work completed by subcontractors and suppliers for progress claims and payment certification
Prepare project cost reports, monitor project expenditure, and identify cost variances
Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), Extension of Time (EOT) supporting documents, and final accounts
Review contract documents and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements
Monitor material quantities, procurement costs, and subcontractor performance to ensure cost efficiency
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments on commercial and contractual matters
Attend site meetings, contract discussions, and project coordination meetings
Maintain accurate contract records, project cost documentation, and commercial correspondence
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
At least 3-5 years relevant experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, measurement, and contract administration
Familiar with progress claims, VO, EOT, subcontract administration, and final accounts
Able to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Quantity surveying software
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure
Willing to travel and visit project sites when required
