Job summary

CUSTOMIND LAB SDN. BHD. is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor in Kuala Lumpur.

The role involves preparing tender documents, controlling costs, and verifying bills of quantities for interior design projects. You will attend site meetings, verify BOQs, and ensure accuracy in pricing across contracts and final accounts. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years’ relevant experience, with English and Bahasa Malaysia fluency; Mandarin is a must due to staff language preferences.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in interior design industry is a plus.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tenders documents, bills of quantities, and contracts.
• Cost-control of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings and perform BOQ verifications & quality checks.
• Prepare post-project budgets, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Review interior renovation/construction drawings and specifications.
• Ensure tender prices are accurate.

Job description

We are looking for a capable Quantity Surveyor to support our organization. You will be mainly responsible for preparing all the tenders documents, bills of site control, request for quotation, and contracts.

What do we need you to do?

You will be involved in verifying, and cost-control of all suppliers & subcontractors

You will be involved in site meetings, on-site Bill of Quantity verifications & quality checks

You will be responsible for ensuring that the prices quoted in the tenders are accurate

You will be responsible for preparing post-project budgets, progress claims, and final accounts

You will be crucial in reviewing all interior renovation/construction drawings & specifications

What do we need from you?

Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced / Higher/ Graduate Diploma / or Bachelor’s degree / Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

At least a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Interior Design industry is an added advantage

Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia

The ability to communicate in Mandarin is a must. Because most of the staff are Mandarin speakers
