Job summary

Sperwin Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Contract Executive to handle tender documents, budgets, and billing for fast-paced interior design and renovation projects in Malaysia. The role covers change tracking, contractor procurement, and variation management to uphold project budgets.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying with at least 2 years’ experience, be Malaysian citizens, and willing to work in Puchong, Selangor. Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2 years experience in quantity surveying.
• Willing to work at Puchong, Selangor.
• Malaysian citizen; Bahasa Malaysia; English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
• Track changes to design/construction work and adjust budget projections.
• Procure or engage contractors/subcontractors for the project.
• Participate in tender evaluation, procurement and award decisions.
• Invite sub-contractors to submit quotations and evaluate them accordingly.
• Assist in contract negotiations for optimum price and quality.
• Monitor variation orders and ensure proper recording and claims.
• Cost-control of all suppliers and sub-contractors within budget.

Job description

Senior Quantity Surveyor / Contract Executive

To prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation

To track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly

To procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project

To involve in overall contract tendering process which include evaluation of tender, recommendation, procurement and award of contracts

To invite sub-contractors to submit quotations for the projects & evaluate the quotations accordingly to the necessary award of the sub-contractors

To assist the negotiation of contract with an optimum mix of price and quality

To monitor all variation order are well recorded and claimed

To verify, cost-control of all suppliers and sub-contractor, inclusive project claims and expenses within the budget

Any ad hoc matters or assignment from time to time.

Requirement :

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying

Candidate must have minimum 2 years experience in quantity surveyor field.

Candidate must be willing to work at Puchong, Selangor

Able to work in fast-tracked project progression.

Self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently as well as able to work with others as a team;

Have a valid driving license (B2/D);

Applicants must be Malaysian citizens

Must be able to speak Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mandarin will be added advantage

Able to join immediately will be an added advantage.
