BRB DESIGN SOLUTION SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Interior Design & Fit-Out) to manage cost estimates, tendering, and budgeting for interior projects. You will handle variation orders, prepare progress claims, and ensure timely invoicing.

Fresh graduates or those with 1 year of experience in interior design or architecture firms are welcome, with strong reading of drawings and software proficiency to support accurate costing.

• Relevant degree or diploma in QS, building, or construction management.
• Fresh graduates or 1 year+ in Interior Design, Fit-Out, or Architecture firms.
• Ability to read drawings and calculate quantities.
• Knowledge of interior costing, contracts, and tendering processes.
• Strong cost control and cost reporting abilities.

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
• Develop tender pricing strategies and provide cost advice.
• Monitor and manage variation orders; record and submit claims.
• Verify project costs and maintain cost control for all resources.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow, progress claims, tender docs, and final accounts.
• Ensure timely progress claims, certifications, and client invoices.
• Source and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for best value.
• Provide regular cost reports to management.

Quantity Surveyor (Interior Design & Fit-Out)

Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions.

Develop competitive tender pricing strategies and provide cost advice.

Monitor and manage variation orders, ensuring all claims are properly recorded and submitted.

Verify project costs and maintain effective cost control for suppliers, subcontractors, labour, and overall project expenses within the approved budget.

Prepare pre-contract and post-contract budgets, progress claims, cash flow projections, tender documentation, and final accounts.

Ensure progress claims, certifications, and client invoices are prepared and issued on time.

Source, negotiate, and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturers, and vendors to achieve the best value.

Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports to management.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or an equivalent qualification.

Fresh graduates or candidates with at least 1 year of working experience in an Interior Design, Fit-Out, or Architecture firm.

Knowledge of construction costing in Interior Architecture, contract administration, and tendering processes.

Ability to read design drawings and calculate accurate material quantities.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, measurement, and cost control skills.

Good negotiation and communication skills.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, AutoCAD, and Quantity Surveying software (if applicable).

Possess a valid driving license and own transportation.

Must be available to start immediately or on short notice.
