Berjaya Land Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support cost estimation, budgeting and financial analysis across multiple projects. The role involves preparing contracts, monitoring payments, and coordinating with design teams, site supervisors and contractors to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements include a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Contract Management and 2–3 years of relevant experience; knowledge of English, Malay, and Chinese is advantageous, with Japan

Qualificações

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or Contract Management.
• 2–3 years experience in consultancy/construction/property development.
• Experience in Japan is a plus.

Work closely with internal teams such as the Design Team for design specifications and Production/Site Supervisors for project materials to understand and interpret the project scope for accurate cost estimation.

Estimate quantity and costs of materials.

Prepare contracts and documents.

Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials.

Responsible to manage clients, other consultants, and main contractors.

Monitoring the project’s progress claims, variation order, omission works and final account.

Monitor the delivery of goods purchased as per date required to meet the timeline of all projects.

Develop and maintain strong working relationship with contractor and subcontractors.

Job Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management or equivalent.

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in the consultancy/ construction / property development industry. Candidates with relevant working experience in Japan will have an added advantage.

Good analytical and negotiation skill.

Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Need to be literate in English, Malay, Chinese

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
