Job summary

BERJAYA PROPERTY BERHAD (Formerly known as Berjaya Land Berhad) is seeking a seasoned site supervisor to coordinate, supervise and monitor infrastructure works on a major project in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure activities align with approved procedures, drawings and project specs, and you will liaise with engineers to implement instructions on-site across subcontractors.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and at least six years of infrastructure experience, with river improvement

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in infrastructure works; river improvement experience is a plus.
• Able to work long hours with minimal supervision.
• Possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise and monitor site works to ensure all activities align with approved procedures, drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Monitor subcontractors' work progress and productivity to ensure completion within the project schedule.
• Liaise with the engineer and ensure instructions are communicated to subcontractors.
• Prepare, review and submit daily site progress reports to the engineer, including progress, manpower, materials and site issues.
• Monitor and maximise material utilization to minimise on-site machinery.
• Supervise and enforce safety practices to comply with safety requirements and regulations.

Job description

Coordinate, supervise and monitor site works to ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Monitor subcontractors' work progress and productivity to ensure works are completed within the approved project schedule and agreed work program.

Liaise closely with the engineer and relevant parties and ensure the engineer's instructions are properly communicated, coordinated, and implemented by the subcontractors.

Prepare, review, and submit daily site progress reports to the engineer, including updates on work progress, manpower, materials, plant and machinery and site issues.

Monitor and ensure effective utilization and maximization of materials to minimize machinery at site.

Supervise and enforce safety practices within the work areas and ensure site activities comply with applicable safety requirements and regulations.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Engineering or a related field.

A minimum of 6 years of working experience in infrastructure works. Previous experience in river improvement works would be an added advantage.

Able to work long hours with minimum supervision

Possess own transport.
