Job summary

Stonk Construction Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Quantity Surveyor Intern in George Town, Penang. Fresh graduates and interns are welcome; strong communication with Main con language is advantageous due to PRC Mainland collaboration.

You will assist with cost estimates, takeoffs, tender documents, site measurements, and cost control while liaising with subcontractors and stakeholders. A degree in engineering or QS and CIDB green card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering fields or Quantity surveying.
• CIDB green card holder preferred.
• Able to communicate with Mainland China engineers is an advantage.

About the role

Stonk Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a driven and ambitious Quantity Surveyor Intern to join our team in George Town, Penang. Interns and Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply. Must able to communicate with Main con language because your Main con are from PRC Mainland.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents

What we're looking for

• Degree in Engineering fields, Quantity surveyor, CIDB green card holder.


• Able to communicate with China Mainland engineer is an advantage.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure


• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders


• Proficiency in using construction-related software (e.g., CAD)


• Enthusiasm for the construction industry and a willingness to learn
