The role emphasizes ISO 9001 compliance, audits, data-driven improvement, and effective communication with customers and suppliers. The incumbent will train teams, manage CAPA/8D, and support EMS/OHSMS initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in engineering, demonstrates strong stakeholder engagement, audit skills, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and a balanced communication style.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
• Skilled in internal and external audits.
• Detail-oriented with ability to document clearly and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develops quality programs aligned with ISO 9001 and improvement objectives.
• Plans and conducts internal/process audits to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Monitors quality performance and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Handles customer feedback and provides timely responses.
• Implements corrective actions and 8D methodologies.
• Protects confidential information and intellectual property.
• Delivers technical training on tools, processes, and overall function.
• Ensures compliance with ESH/EMS/OHSMS requirements and contributes to QMS/EMS/OHSMS improvements.

Job description

Quality Engineer (Customer & Process Quality)

Supports products in the advanced materials, component and assembly solutions. Works closely with customers and internal/external suppliers on quality and continuous improvement initiatives under ISO 9001 and other management system objectives.

Key responsibilities

Develops and implements quality programs consistent with ISO 9001 and continuous improvement objectives

Plan & execute internal audit / process audit to ensure process compliance against customer requirements

Analyse and monitoring quality performances to identify opportunities of improvement

Handling customer feedback and providing timely response to customers

Ensure corrective action closure without undue delay

Initiate, investigate and follow through on internal CAPA / 8D

Able to work with and handle confidential information and intellectual property appropriately

Ability to perform detail technical customer training on tool process, operation and overall function

Ensure compliance with relevant Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) legal and other requirements applicable to FTMM operations

Support the implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS) and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS)

About you

Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent with relevant work experience

Significant internal and external stakeholder communications requiring an approachable and balanced communication style

Must be accountable with excellent critical thinking, work ethics and leadership to resolve issues within required timeline

Must be familiar with statistical and analysis tools and collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing in developing corrective actions

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software – Word, Excel, Power Point and Power BI

Must be skilled in performing internal and external audits

Must be skilled in writing detailed documentations

Must be attention to detail and able to articulate accurate information to stakeholders

Diligent and passionate to drive for continuous improvements
