Responsibilities

• Document downtime, quality issues, and action items from meetings.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Production Administrator to join FERROTEC POWER SEMICONDUCTOR MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Pasir Gudang, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our production operations and ensuring the smooth flow of manufacturing processes. As Production Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks that directly impact production efficiency, quality control, and timely delivery of our semiconductor products. This role is essential to maintaining operational excellence and supporting our production teams in achieving departmental objectives.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining and updating production schedules, work orders, and manufacturing documentation

Coordinating communication between production teams, quality assurance, and relevant departments

Preparing and distributing production reports, performance metrics, and operational data

Managing inventory records and tracking raw materials and finished goods

Processing production-related paperwork including purchase orders, work tickets, and compliance documentation

Supporting production planning activities and assisting with resource allocation

Maintaining accurate records of production activities, downtime incidents, and quality issues

Liaising with relevant departments to resolve production-related queries and discrepancies

Assisting with the organisation of production meetings and documentation of action items

Supporting the implementation of production procedures and ensuring compliance with company policies

What we're looking for

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management and reporting

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

Understanding of production processes and manufacturing workflows, or willingness to learn

Proficiency in data entry and experience with production management systems is preferred

Knowledge of semiconductor or electronics manufacturing is advantageous

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support various departments

Willing to work extended hours or outside normal working hours when operationally required

Able to communicate effectively with Production Leaders, Supervisors, employees and management
