Job summary

MYYAN FOOD INDUSTRY SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quality Control Assistant to monitor daily QC testing, ensure GMP compliance, and support hygiene and pest control checks in our Johor facility.

The role requires a Diploma in Food Science or related field, 1 year of QC experience in food, willingness to work rotating shifts, and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Transport is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Science / Halal or related field required.
• Min 1 year of QC experience in the food industry preferred.
• Punctual, aggressive, responsible, and eager to learn.
• Able to work in rotating shifts.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and conduct daily in-line QC testing/inspection.
• Ensure production personnel adhere to hygiene and GMP when handling products.
• Assist in premise and equipment hygiene and cleanliness inspections.
• Assist in monitoring pest control inspections.
• Check and ensure quality of raw materials, in-process products and finished goods.
• Conduct and record QC testing for incoming materials/goods/packaging.
• Assist in ad hoc tasks from supervisor.
• Conduct daily waste disposal for QC testing.

Job description

• 1. To monitor & conduct daily in-line QC testing/ inspection
• 2. Ensure production personnel's adhere to a code of hygiene and GMP during product handling
• 3. Assist in premise and equipment hygiene and cleanliness inspection
• 4. Assist in monitoring pest control inspection
• 5. Responsible to check & ensure the quality of raw material, in-process product & finished goods in good condition
• 6. To conduct and ensure quality testing, inspection and recording of incoming raw materials/goods / packaging inspection (QC Incoming)
• 7. Assist in any ad hoc task from superior.
• 8. To conduct daily waste disposal for QC testing.

Requirements:

• At least Diploma Food Science / Halal or Other Related Field
• Min 1 year experience in Quality Control (Preferable from Food Industry)
• Punctual, Aggressive, Responsible, willing to learn and always keen on challenges
• Able to work in rotation shift
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Possess with own transportation
