Job summary

ITP FOODS SDN BHD is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Penang to conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods, ensuring consistent product quality and adherence to food safety standards.

The role requires a diploma/degree in food analysis or related field, with Bahasa Malaysia and English proficiency, and experience in lab/QC. Knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 HALAL, and HACCP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Food analysis/technology, Science or any related field.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Preferably candidate with experience in lab/QC.
• Good knowledge of Food Safety System (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 HALAL, HACCP, etc) and discipline and highly driven, work under pressure and deadline-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections for all incoming materials by confirming specifications.
• Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications and perform hygiene monitoring.
• Perform finished goods/ outgoing inspections and ensure the consistency of product quality.
• Overseeing operation process.
• Establish and execute quality control processes & developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operation
• Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs and calibration
• Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner & responsive for updating the Inspections Report
• Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions
• Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products
• Ensure the employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices
• Collect product samples for product development, lab retains and the laboratory when directed
• Perform physicochemical and microbiology analysis in in-house laboratory, upkeep of updated test reports regularly
• All other duties as assigned bytheSuperior.
