Job summary

POWER PACKAGING (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform thorough inspections on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards and to document results.

You will support deviation control, reduce wastage, and assist in improving quality control measures. Proficiency with measuring devices and testing equipment, plus willingness to work shifts, are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Tech/Science or SPM/STPM with 1 year related experience in manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and troubleshoot quality issues.
• Proficient with quality control tools and equipment such as measuring devices, gauges and testing apparatus.
• Willing to work on shifts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Performing inspections and testing on raw materials, WIP and finished products to meet quality standards.
• Document and maintain detailed records of all inspection and testing activities.
• Control process deviation and eliminate causes to reduce wastage.
• Comply with SOPs and assist in development and improvement of quality control measures.

Job Responsibilities

• Performing thorough inspections and testing on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards.. To highlight any non-conformance of operating condition, WIP or products to related personal for immediate corrective actions.
• Documenting and maintaining detailed records of all inspection and testing activities.
• .To control process deviation and eliminate the cause of quality products thus reducing unnecessary wastage.
• Comply with all approved standard operating procedures, work instruction and guidelines that had been trained on. Assist in the development and improvement processes and enhance quality control measures.

Job requirements

• Diploma in Food Tech/Science. Or SPM/STPM with minimum 1 year related in a manufacturing enviroment.. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and troubleshoot quality issues
• Proficient in using quality control tools and equipment, such as measuring devices, gauges, and testing apparatus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in quality assurance control would be an advantage.
• Willing to work on shifts.
