Job summary

Eternal Power Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Control/Quality Assurance professional to supervise daily QC activities and ensure products meet quality requirements.

You will inspect materials, in-process and finished goods, analyze defects, and drive CAPA and quality improvement projects. The role requires a diploma or degree in Quality Management, Engineering or related fields, 2–3 years of QA experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
• Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Science or related field.
• Able to perform root cause analysis and develop appropriate CAPA.
• Able to identify quality problems and proactively propose practical Quality Improvement Plans.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Independent, proactive and able to make decisions with good judgement.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Experience in manufacturing in electronics, automotive, medical device or industrial manufacturing is an advantage
• IATF 16949 experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily quality control activities to ensure products meet company and customer quality requirements.
• Conduct inspection and monitoring of incoming materials, in-process products and finished products.
• Analyze quality issues, defects and customer complaints, and identify the root causes using appropriate problem-solving methods.
• Propose and implement Quality Improvement Plans to reduce defects, improve product quality and prevent recurrence.
• Take initiative to identify potential quality risks and recommend preventive actions before quality issues occur.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, R&D and other departments to investigate and resolve quality problems.
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure improvement actions are properly implemented.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, NCR, CAPA and other relevant quality documentation.
• Monitor quality performance and prepare regular reports on defect rates, rejection rates, yield and other quality indicators.
• Lead or participate in quality improvement projects and drive continuous improvement activities.

About you

Minimum SPM/Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Science or related field

Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably in manufacturing environment

Able to perform root cause analysis and develop appropriate CAPA

Able to identify quality problems and proactively propose practical Quality Improvement Plans

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Independent, proactive and able to make decisions with good judgement

Good documentation and reporting skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Experience in manufacturing in electronics, automotive, medical device or industrial manufacturing is an advantage

IATF 16949 experience is an advantage but not mandatory
