Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager / Assistant Manager to oversee the QA Department and drive conformance to customer requirements. The role requires strong leadership, a solid QA background in manufacturing, and hands‑on experience with audits, CAPA and ISO standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining QMS/EMS systems, reviewing quality standards, and driving corrective actions while coordinating with customers, production and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and ISO standards: ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949, AS9100.
• Hands-on experience in Quality Control, Audits, Customer Complaints, RCA and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• To ensure smooth operation of the QA Department.
• To ensure that products meet customer’s requirements and non-conforming products are not delivered to customers through championing activities in Incoming, In-Process and Outgoing control functions.
• To coordinate and be responsible for following through customer complaints or feedback and liaise with customer, production and quality personnel to ensure they are resolved.
• To ensure that non-conforming products are appropriately reviewed and disposed of.
• To ensure and verify corrective and preventive actions are carried out accordingly on quality improvement.
• To review and approve the Quality Standards for all products manufactured.
• To ensure that the Internal Quality Management System and Environmental Management System are maintained in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO14001 latest management system.
• Reporting to top management on the performance of Quality Management System and Environmental Management System and any need for improvement.
• To review and propose the training plan for QA department.
• To execute improvement plans to meet company objectives and departmental KPIs.
• Responsible to fulfill guidelines ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, IATF16949:2016, AS9100:2016.
• Any other additional responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of QA experience in the manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in supervisory or managerial role.

Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant ISO standards of ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949, AS9100.

Hands on experience in Quality Control, Internal and External Audits, Customer Complaints, RCA and CAPA.

Good leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
