Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Quality Manager to lead the plant quality team and ensure top-tier quality across electronics manufacturing processes from incoming materials to finished goods.

You will drive KPI monitoring, root-cause analysis, and structured problem solving, including 8D and CAPA, while aligning with cross-functional teams to improve processes and prevent defects.

Job description

Quality Manager (Advanced Electronic Manufacturing)

Lead and develop the plant Quality team and quality organization to support a growing advanced electronics manufacturing environment by achieving quality objectives

Ensure consistent quality of our electronics manufacturing processes and products, from incoming materials to finished goods

Create transparency on quality performance by monitoring quality issues, key KPIs, process deviations, and improvement actions

Drive practical quality improvement and structured problem solving, including root-cause analysis, 8D, CAPA, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions

Plan, implement, and follow up on the audit program to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and other relevant functions to improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and strengthen production quality

Foster an open error reporting culture with early escalation, rapid containment, and strong root cause prevention

Job Qualifications

Degree in Electrical and Electronics / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or a similar technical discipline

At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing industries, of at least 5 years should be in Quality domain

Experience in advanced electronics manufacturing, electronic assemblies, PCB/PCBA, final assembly, testing

Experience in leading teams

Good understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and practical quality methods used in manufacturing

Strong hands-on mindset with the ability to build transparency through quality KPIs, shopfloor monitoring, and follow-up of quality issues
