Job summary

Mehow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. You will manage QC inspectors, coordinate QA activities, and maintain ISO/QMS documentation while driving continuous improvement.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality to ensure specifications and product quality standards.
• Manage quality control inspectors and ensure inspections are delivered on time.
• Coordinate, lead and guide QC functions on quality-related issues and activities.
• Maintain documentation to meet ISO and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare relevant quality reports for quality meetings and management reviews.
• Work with production and project teams on internal quality activities and improvement programs.
• Handle acceptance/reject/limit samples for production references.
• Support internal and supplier/customer complaints to ensure timely resolutions.
• Monitor and ensure the effectiveness of ECN, FAI and daily quality activities.

• To monitor and ensure the product quality is complying to specification and product quality standards

• Proactive coordinate, lead and guide QC functions on all quality-related issues and activities

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), SPC and ISO 13485 requirements.

Injection molding experience will be an added advantage.
