Job summary

Texchem Corporation Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to uphold ISO9001/ISO14001 standards and oversee inspection for injection molding processes. The role focuses on maintaining documentation, performing QC checks, and driving corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

You will analyze data, train QC technicians, coordinate with suppliers and customers, and participate in validation and product development to ensure samples meet specifications and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical / Medical / Polymer / Injection Moulding Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in QA within Injection Molding.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485; CQE certification an advantage.
• Able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain QMS ISO standards and document control.
• Perform QC inspection and data analysis for process improvement.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers on quality issues.
• Prepare 8D reports and corrective actions.

Maintaining, control, and discipline for all inspectors. Ensuring a quality system per System Management in place

a. Establish in-coming, in-process & out-going inspection check sheets for inspection.

b. Ensure quality documents and records are properly maintained

c. Feedback of quality matters to related production sections for immediate corrective actions

d. Well maintain of QMS ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Work with the project team on project planning to provide the estimated timeline for product measurement and QA buy off for first articles measurement / validation to ensure the samples produced meet customer specification and data package compilation to customers within due date.

Provide Training to QC and FA Technician on new product and updating the new requirements and specifications in the Work Instruction, as well as maintain the related document (QP / LAT / Tooling Setup / QC checklist).

Perform routine monitoring on the QC buy off practices to ensure the QC operators perform the measurement / testing correctly.

Review KPI, KRA and analyse internal quality performance to identify area for improvement.

Analyze data through process capability study CPK, SPC, MSA, GR&R and AAA as per customer’s requirement.

Schedule external laboratory testing per customer requirements and reporting.

Participate in improvement project / product development / process validation.

To liaise with suppliers on quality issues and prepared for supplier audit.

To liaise with hard disk drive (HDD) customers on quality related matters and feedback Corrective Action Plan to eliminate / prevent recurrences and prepared for customer audit.

Assists superior on handling any other assignments / projects as and when required / instructed.

Involve in Validation process. (train and support other departments in preparation of validation input documents)

To liaise with customers on quality related matters and feedback Corrective Action Plan to eliminate / prevent recurrences. Prepare 8D report using ‘Why-Why Analysis’, ‘Fish Bone Analysis’. Monitoring all Corrective Action implemented to ensure effectiveness of the Corrective Action.

Involve in Validation process. (train and support other departments in preparation of validation input documents).

Operating the Quality Management System (QMS), writing procedures and processes to support the QMS development.

Coordinate incoming test and monitoring all Incoming Material performance. Self-monitoring MFI result for resin materials.

Requirements :

Possess a Bachelor Degree in Chemical / Medical / Polymer / Injection Moulding Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) role within the Injection Molding industry.

Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485 and etc.

Knowledge in CQE or possess a cert is an added advantage.

Can work in a team work environment and a team player.
