Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA Leader to guide the quality team and ensure SOPs and work instructions are followed on the production floor. The role focuses on maintaining quality management system requirements across materials, in-process and finished goods, with emphasis on problem solving and corrective actions.

The candidate should hold a engineering degree and have strong MS Office and database skills; fresh graduates are welcome and plastics injection experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (electronics, electrical or mechanical) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office and databases.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; manufacturing/injection experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality team to ensure SOPs and WIs are followed.
• Oversee quality operations on the production floor and ensure QA processes meet QMS.
• Ensure good manufacturing practices for incoming materials, finished goods, and inspections.
• Investigate quality issues with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead problem-solving for quality, scrap, process capability, and warranty matters.
• Develop and implement quality actions for new products.
• Ensure supplier quality including audits and supplier improvement feedback.
• Support ISO/Audit activities and documentation.

• 1. Lead quality team to provide guidance to ensure operation comply to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
• 2. Responsible for the quality operation in the production floor and ensure all quality processes are following quality management system requirements.
• 3. Ensuring good manufacturing/engineering practice on operations such as incoming material and finished goods inspection, certification of analysis preparation, product measuring and monitoring control, equipment calibration and etc
• 4. Ensure quality related issues and customer feedback are promptly resolved with details investigation, identification of root cause and implementation of effective corrective actions.
• 5. Leads and organizes formal and informal problem-solving in areas of quality, scrap, process capability, warranty, under the guidance by Quality Manager.
• 6. Responsible for the development of new products quality management, preventive and corrective actions.
• 7. Responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials supplied by suppliers, quality problems timely feedback suppliers require its improvement, tracking and confirming the supplier's improvement report and implementation effect.
• 8. Responsible for supplier counseling and audit, tracking the implementation of supplier improvement effect.
• 9. Supporting company ISO/Audit activities and documentations.

Job requirements:

• 1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering - Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent.
• 2. Good knowledge of MS Office and databases.
• 3. Fresh graduate courage to apply. Working experience from plastic molding injection industry will be add advantage.
