Job summary

Magma Tooling Sdn Bhd is seeking a QMS Executive to lead ISO 9001 implementation and continual improvement at the Butterworth facility.

You will coordinate audits, manage quality documentation, monitor KPIs and collaborate with Production, Design and Procurement to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Science or related discipline.
• 3-5+ years’ experience in QMS/Quality/Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including QMS implementation and audits.
• Manufacturing, engineering or control-panel industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, implement and improve QMS across the factory.
• Coordinate audits with internal, certification, customer and surveillance bodies.
• Follow up nonconformities and verify corrective actions.
• Monitor quality KPIs and prepare QMS reports.
• Work with Production, Design, Procurement, Store, Planning, Sales and other departments.
• Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 initiatives.

Job description

To support the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) at the assigned factory, with primary focus on ISO 9001. The QMS Executive will act as the factory-level QMS representative and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure effective implementation, compliance and continual improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain, implement and continuously improve the Company’s Quality

Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and

ISO 45001 standards, customer requirements and company policies.

Maintain controlled procedures, SOPs, work instructions, forms and quality records.

Coordinate and support internal, certification, customer and surveillance audits.

Follow up nonconformities, corrective actions and effectiveness verification.

Support risk and opportunity assessment and continual improvement activities.

Monitor quality KPIs and prepare periodic QMS reports.

Coordinate QMS awareness and relevant training activities.

Work closely with Production, Design, Procurement, Store, Planning, Sales and other departments.

Support QMS readiness and implementation for organization expansion.

Progressively support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 activities.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Degree/Diploma in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Science or related discipline.

Preferably 3-5+ years’ experience in QMS/Quality/Manufacturing.

Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 1401 and ISO 4501, including QMS implementation, maintenance and audit coordination.

Manufacturing, engineering or control-panel industry experience is an advantage.

Good command of MS Office, especially Word, Excel & Power Point.
