Job summary

Adhes packaging technology (Malaysia) sdn bhd is seeking a QA/QC professional to maintain and improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. You will coordinate audits, oversee QC across materials to finished goods, and manage CAPA activities at our Pulau Indah, Selangor site.

The role requires 3–5 years in QA/QC within manufacturing, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and Mandarin language ability for China liaison.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant QA/QC experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including QMS implementation, maintenance and audit coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, coordinate cross-functional activities and manage quality issues effectively.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin to liaise with the China team.
• Computer literate; knowledge of quality tools, CAPA and continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Willing to work at the Company’s factory in Pulau Indah, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, implement and continuously improve the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, customer requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, certification reviews and surveillance audits, ensuring compliance with applicable ISO standards and timely closure of audit findings.
• Oversee quality control activities covering incoming materials, in-process production, finished products and outgoing inspections to ensure compliance with established specifications and quality standards.
• Develop, review and maintain quality documentation, procedures, work instructions, inspection standards and records.
• Manage customer complaints, non-conformities and quality issues, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), follow-up and effectiveness verification.
• Analyse quality data and identify improvement opportunities to enhance product quality, process effectiveness and QMS performance.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal departments on quality matters, audits and compliance requirements.
• Support quality training, continuous improvement initiatives and other duties assigned by Management.
