Qualifications

• Diploma holder or above.
• 3–4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Good interpersonal skill.
• Knowledge of ISO systems (ISO 9001/45001/13485, IATF 16949).
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with project management software.
• Plastic manufacturing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers and internal teams on program status, tool qualification, mold trials, tool transfer, and ECN.
• Lead cross-functional teams (Quality, Tool Room, Production, Assembly) to meet timelines with Gantt tracking.
• Register/edit new tool info in the Tool Management System (TMS).
• Coordinate engineering documents (WIs, flow charts, PFMEA, Control Plans) with process owners.
• Create and release BOMs, tool matrices, and packaging matrices.
• Guide process owners to resolve mold trial issues using DR and CR reports.

The company are seeking a Manufacutring Engineer, responsible for new tools qualification, testing, transfer and approvalactivities.Involve in new products manufacturing, development and testingactivities during NPI state if applicable

Job Descriptions:

• Liaise with customer/internal on the program status &updates related to new tool qualification, mold trials, tooltransfer, tool refurbish and Engineering Change Notice (ECN).
• To lead internal team (Quality, tool room, production,assembly etc) to meet the customer timeline with Gantt Charttracking.
• To register/edit new tool information into the ToolManagement System (TMS).
• To coordinate the engineering documents (Work Instruction,flow chart, Gantt Chart, PFMEA, Control Plan, etc) with thesupport from process owner.
• To create & release the Bill of Material (BOM), tool matrix,packaging matrix etc.
• To lead the process owners (Process Engineer, Tool makers,Quality, Designers) to resolve technical issues during moldtrial basing on Dimension Report (DR) and Cosmetic Report(CR).
• To lead the process owners on process & equipmentreadiness. (Eg: Jigs & fixture, degating jigs, EoAT, assemblyline & equipments)
• To study and propose packaging method for new products.
• Arrangement of tool trial, resin preparation for trial & build,preparing of tool trial report and yield information.
• Submission of parts to customer for qualification & goldensamples approval & Part Approval Processs (PAP)consolidation/submission
• Conduct weekly meeting with process owners to updatestatus and progress of work with proper minutes ofmeeting/tracker format.
• To collect & provide process information to Costing team forquote preparation if applicable.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks per request by immediate superior

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder & above
• Minimum 3~4 years in manufacturing segment
• Good interpersonal skill.
• ISO system knowledge - ISO 9001,ISO45001, ISO13485, IATF 16949 etc
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Project Management Software.
• With plastic manufacturing knowledgewill be added advantage.
