Job summary

Multi Mould Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to own the QMS, SOPs, control plans, inspection standards and ISO 9001 audit readiness.

You will oversee incoming, in-process and final inspections, including GD&T, CMM and FAI, and lead NCRs, 8D problem solving, root-cause analysis and CAPA actions. You will drive supplier quality, metrics and cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, PMC and customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality or equivalent practical/ hands-on experience is acceptable
• At least 10 years of years manufacturing QA/QC, preferably 5 years of supervisory or managerial responsibility.
• Experience in precision machining, sheet metal, welding, equipment or semiconductor supply chains is especially valuable.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, technical drawing interpretation, GD&T, CMM, FAI, NCR/CAPA, 8D, FMEA, process controls, supplier quality and strong written and verbal communication.
• ISO 9001 lead/internal auditor training preferred, no mandatory license specified.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, fair, decisive, proactive and effective at mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality management system, SOPs, control plans, inspection standards, traceability and document control, maintain ISO 9001 audit readiness.
• Oversee incoming, in-process and final inspections, including dimensional verification, technical drawings, GD&T, CMM and first article inspections.
• Lead internal and external NCRs, customer complaints, containment, 8D problem solving, root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop supplier quality evaluation, supplier NCR follow-up and corrective action effectiveness.
• Define and report key quality indicators such as PPM, defect/rework rate, first-pass yield, complaint closure and CAPA overdue items.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, PMC and Customer teams on quality risks, process capability, manufacturability and new product introduction.
• Lead, train and coach quality engineers and inspectors, improve shop-floor discipline, inspection records and problem-solving capability.
