Saint-Gobain Malaysia invites applications for a QA/QC Assistant to support daily laboratory testing, sample prep and quality control activities at Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will assist in raw material testing, in-process inspections and final product release, with a focus on accuracy and 5S discipline.
Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Science or Engineering, 1–2 years’ related experience, and good Bahasa Malaysia and English are required. Night shift and overtime availability preferred.

Assist QA/QC activities in daily laboratory testing, sample preparation and quality control activities.
Perform testing of incoming raw materials according to established specifications and procedures.
Conduct in-process quality control inspections and ensure products meet the required quality standards.
Perform final quality inspection and testingof finished products before release.
Prepare, collect and manage samples for laboratory testing and retain samples as required.
Perform routine laboratory tests such as sieving, moisture content, workability, setting time, compressive strength, adhesion and other relevant quality tests.
Record and maintain accurate laboratory test results, inspection records and QC documentation.
Monitor and report test results and highlight any abnormal or out-of-specification results to the QA/QC personnel.
Assist in investigation and evaluation of customer complaints, non-conforming products and quality issues.
Prepare and summarize daily QC test results and support daily QC reporting.
Ensure laboratory equipment, tools and work areas are properly maintained, clean and organized according to 5S requirements.
Assist in calibration and verification activities of laboratory equipment as required.
Follow established quality, safety, environmental and laboratory procedures, including ISO requirements.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
Minimum SPM/STPM, Certificate or Diploma in Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Quality or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, laboratory or quality control activities is preferred.
Basic knowledge of laboratory testing techniques and quality control processes.
Computer literature and ability to prepare and maintain QC records.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of 5S and workplace safety practices.
Must possess own transportation.
Willing to work at Kawasan Perindustrian Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang, Johor.
Willing to work night shift and overtime, including weekends, when required.
Preferably able to join before 30 September 2026.
