Job summary

NUECHEMIE SDN. BHD. is seeking a QC Assistant to help ensure product quality from raw materials to finished goods right here in Klang, Selangor.

You will assist on the production floor, monitor operations, and support in adhering to SOPs and safety rules while maintaining accurate records. Qualifying candidates have a background in quality assurance or chemistry and 1–2 years of related experience. Fresh graduates with chemistry/science backgrounds are welcome to apply; proficiency in MS Office

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control, Laboratory Testing, Manufacturing, or Warehouse environment preferred.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment or basic measuring tools if required.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Klang, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming quality inspections on raw materials to ensure they meet specifications before releasing them to production.
• Conduct final inspections on finished goods prior to packaging and dispatch.
• Identify, report, and isolate defective materials or non-conforming products to prevent quality issues.
• Maintain daily inspection records, test reports, and lab/testing logs accurately.
• Walk the factory/production floor to monitor daily assembly or processing operations.
• Assist supervisors in ensuring workers follow SOPs, safety rules, and chemical/material safety guidelines.
• Assist in tracking daily output targets and reporting bottleneck issues.
• Perform any other ad-hoc work as required.

QC Assistant (Quality Control / Production)

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented QC Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our product quality meets established standards—from raw material receiving to finished goods delivery. You will also assist in basic production floor monitoring and perform ad-hoc duties as required to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming quality inspections on raw materials to ensure they meet specifications before releasing them to production
• Conduct final inspections on finished goods prior to packaging and dispatch

About you

• SPM / STPM / Certificate / Diploma or Degree in Quality Assurance, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent
• 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control, Laboratory Testing, Manufacturing, or Warehouse environment preferred (Fresh graduates with Chemistry/Science qualifications are encouraged to apply)
• Qualifications or certifications as a Chemist / Registered Chemist, or a background in Chemistry/Chemical Analysis will be a strong added advantage
• Bahasa Malaysia and basic English
• Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, Word)
• High attention to detail, disciplined, flexible, and proactive
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment or basic measuring tools (e.g., pH meters, viscometers, calipers, weighing scales) if required
• Must be willing to work full-time on-site in Klang, Selangor
