Job summary

Lam Soon Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC professional to ensure product quality and compliance throughout manufacturing, oversee inspections of materials, WIPs, and finished goods, and maintain quality records.

You will support production on the line, participate in quality improvement, and ensure GMP/GDP/GLP compliance, with shift flexibility in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate holder; those with science background or related field will be advantageous.
• At least 1 year of working experience in QA/QC or laboratory, preferably manufacturing industry.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated with analytical skills.
• Computer literacy: Microsoft Office (Words and Excel).
• Able to work on shift rotation.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• To implement quality control for products manufacturing by the organization, and to maintain/ensure the quality of the products during manufacturing process to meet customer's requirements
• To put efforts in achieving company goals/targets as per timeline provided
• To highlight / inform superior on any non-conformance materials and products & any abnormalities in the plant immediately
• Assist in quality improvement project
• Carry out routine quality inspection on-line to ensure WIPs are within required specification, e.g. visual and measurement inspection
• To inspect incoming raw material and packaging materials before release for production usage
• Carry out inspection on finished goods
• Maintain all quality documents and records
• Conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and overseeing production processes
• To control, file & take care all QC inspection forms
• To follow production schedule by supporting operation in production line, raw material warehouse and delivery store
• To attend trainings and to improve competency.
• To befully proactive & aware of occupational health and safety standards at workplace, ensure full compliance and also safeguarding oneself, colleagues, and the Company from any detrimental incidents.
• To follow and guide workers to follow the GMP, GDP & GLP rules.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
