Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control Assistant to inspect, test, and evaluate materials at various stages of the production process. The role requires keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

The incumbent will document results, prepare reports for management, and collaborate with operators and supply chain to drive quality improvements. Opportunity to support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Quality Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in quality control/assurance or inspection within Manufacturing / Food Industry.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with ERP/QMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test materials and products to meet quality and safety standards.
• Document inspection results and prepare quality report summaries for management.
• Collaborate with operators and supply chain to drive quality improvements.
• Assist in managing ad-hoc tasks given by supervisor (e.g., FW medical requirement).

Quality Control Assistant

will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products and materials at various stages of the production process. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with quality standards and testing equipment.

Job Description

• Inspection & Testing - Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure adherence to specified quality and safety standards.
• Documentation & Reporting - Maintain detailed records of inspection results, defect, and test data. Prepare quality report summaries for management.
• Collaboration - Work closely with operators (locals & foreign workers), supply chain teams to drive quality improvements and reduce scrap or rework rates.
• Additional tasks - Assist in managing any ad-hoc tasks given by supervisor (e.g assist for FW medical requirement)

Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Food Catering Management or any related field
• 2 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or inspection within Manufacturing / Food Industry
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, ERP/QMS systems).

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Able to stand or walk for extended period during shift.
• Able climb up and down the stairs.
• Comfortable working in factory environment with exposure to unpleasant smell or safety precautions.

Remuneration

• Salary range RM 2,300 - RM 2,700
