CFM TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD, an engineering company in Johor Senai Industrial Park, seeks a Quality Assurance and Control Manager with strong QA method knowledge and data-driven mindset. You will lead QA/QC activities for incoming, in-process, and finished parts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–10 years in a similar manufacturing/engineering capacity, with a focus on achieving quality objectives and detailed reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with experience as QA/QC manager in manufacturing or engineering.
• 5–10 years in the same capacity.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies and standards.
• Ability to use computers and generate reports.
• Ability to analyze data and review processes.
• Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics.
• Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for quality procedures and policies and ensure integrity.
• Coordinate with customers on quality issues and ensure inspections.
• Oversee QA/QC staff training and capability development.
• Set up and review department KPI with management.
• Design, implement and improve company quality standards.
• Analyze data to identify growth opportunities and monitor performance.
• Communicate non-conformities to management and drive corrective actions.

Job description

To be responsible for quality procedures and policies are relevant and intact with business.

To ensure applicable incoming parts, in process parts and outgoing finished parts are inspected and test (if applicable) are performed

Quality issues regarding products must be corrected timely.

To co-ordinate and liaise with customers on quality issues.

To ensure that all quality information such as quality score cards (internal & external) are manage effective with continue quality improvement programs

To improve personnel skills in management and quality techniques, ensure QA/QC staffs are trained.

To ensure that equipment is calibrated for those ensuring product quality

Handling customers and supplier quality issue arise with QC/QA personnel

To inform management on non-compliant to the products/processes

To work with QC team to ensure quality objective has been met.

To set up and review department KPI with management annually.

Design, implement, and improve company quality standards.

Analyse data in order to find areas for growth.

Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications

Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met.

Create reports to track progress.

Formulate strategies to increase productivity.

Monitoring performance

Review processes in order to ensure that they align with current trends.

REQUIREMENT

Bachelor’s degree with associated experience as quality assurance manager in manufacturing or engineering field.

5 to 10 years working experience in same capacity.

Through knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards

Technical proficiency must be able to use computers and generate reports.

Ability to analysis data and create and review processes.

A desire to help others achieve their best, willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics.

Great attention to detail and a result driven approach
