Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control/Quality Assurance professional to supervise GMP routines, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure calibration of measurement devices. The role requires a degree in Food Science or Food Technology and experience in manufacturing QA/QC.

Strong analytical skills, experience with quality management systems, root cause analysis, and sensory evaluation are essential. Excellent communication across departments is expected.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification: minimum degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, root cause analysis tools, and sensory evaluation methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate across departments, strong analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and verify GMP routine are carried out as appropriate, communicate the findings to Production and log the findings daily.
• Execute and coordinate corrective action plans detailed in foreign material control plan.
• Supervise to ensure on-time calibration of measuring and monitoring devices.
• Respond promptly to any pest callouts and verify that routine monitoring by the Pest Control Operator (PCO) is being carried out appropriately.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.

Supervise to ensure on-time calibration of measuring and monitoring devices.

Respond promptly to any pest callouts and verify that routine monitoring by the Pest Control Operator (PCO) is being carried out appropriately.

Other responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
(note: GMP routine including pre-opt, personal hygiene, monthly audit/inspection, EMP swabs, allergen swabs )

REQUIREDMENT: -
