Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA specialist to uphold finished goods compliance, review CoA documentation, and coordinate lab testing for local distribution and exports.

Focuses on pre-release lot holding and clearance, finished goods (FG) defect reduction, packaging integrity verification, lot code traceability, shelf-life testing, and customer complaint investigation across manufacturing lines.
Enforce strict finished goods compliance against product specifications and oversee a robust Positive Release Governance (Triple Redundancy) system for all local distribution and export shipments
Review, verify, and validate analytical and microbiological test results to issue accurate, compliant Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for key customer dispatches and export markets
Coordinate external accredited lab testing schedules and execute systematic, risk-based sampling plans for regular finished goods monitoring and regulatory compliance
Manage the in-house retain sample library and drive the ongoing shelf-life testing program (sensory, physical, micro, and rancidity evaluation)
Perform data reviews and trend analysis using Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to proactively identify quality deviations and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Lead technical investigations into customer quality complaints using root-cause analysis methodologies to ensure timely, effective, and verifiable CAPA closure
Partner with QC, Production, and Maintenance teams to manage real-time line non-conformances and drive cross-functional, systematic RCA-CAPA resolutions
Maintain, update, and review SOPs, batch release records, and standard quality documentation to ensure complete data integrity and audit compliance
Provide active support, relief coverage, and cross-functional assistance to other QA, QC, or Food Safety operational areas as assigned during operational surges, audits, or emergencies
Bachelor's degree in food technology, Chemical Technology, Food Processing, or Chemistry
1 to 3 years in finished goods and raw material inspection, process QA in food plants (B.Sc. Food Tech degree trade-off accepted)
Expertise in allergen control, titration methods, food processing unit operations, GMP, and equipment hygiene verification
Knowledge in Statistical Process Control, RCA - CAPA Problem-solving
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills (RCA/CAPA)
Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment, able to rotate between local manufacturing sites when required
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
