Tenggara Food Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional to uphold food safety, quality, and regulatory standards in our production environment in Malaysia. You will perform in-process checks, finished product inspections, and support audits.
A Diploma or Degree in Food Science or Food Technology is required, with at least 1 year of industry experience. Strong English and Bahasa Melayu communication, good problem solving, and attention to detail are essential;

Conduct in-process quality checks throughout production.
Perform finished product inspections prior to product release.
Verify raw materials, packaging, and components meet required quality standards.
Review batch records and production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, HACCP, FDA, FSSC 22000, and other relevant standards.
Assist in internal and external audits, including regulatory, customer, and certification audits.
Follow, maintain, and assist in updating SOPs and quality procedures.
Maintain inspection reports, deviation logs, non-conformance reports, and other QA records.
Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for finished products.
Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and batch records are maintained.
Identify and report product defects, deviations, and non-conformances.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Assist with product recalls, rejections, and other quality-related investigations.
Conduct GMP audits and support quality analysis activities.
Perform shelf-life testing for products.
Coordinate with external laboratories for annual product testing.
Prepare product samples for customers, product verification, and quality evaluation.
Assist the Halal Executive in compiling and preparing the necessary documentation for Halal applications and compliance.
Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in the food industry is an advantage.
Familiarity with Halal, MS 1480, FSSC 22000, and food safety requirements will be an added advantage.
Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu, both written and spoken.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsible, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
Good problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to quality and food safety.
