Job summary

• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with different departments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality assurance and quality improvement activities.

This role is responsible for quality assurance and quality improvement activities within a food manufacturing environment. You will liaise with customers on quality issues, coordinate internal corrective and preventive actions, and manage quality functions including incoming, in-process, outgoing inspections and customer satisfaction. You will lead the QC team to perform daily tasks effectively and drive continuous improvement actions.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for quality assurance and quality improvement activities
• Liaise with customers on quality issues and coordinate internal corrective and preventive action
• Manage the quality functions including incoming, in-process, outgoing and customer satisfaction
• Lead QC to perform daily tasks effectively and continuous improvement actions
• Establish and review standard operating procedures, work instructions, flow charts and specifications and ensure proper documentation and maintenance of records
• Determine food safety and quality issues and oversee continuous improvement of the Company's quality system
• Review and monitor proper execution and maintenance of Quality Management Systems confirming to GMP, HACCP standards and establish continuous improvement programs
• Participate in internal auditing and assume a key role in the Answering Committee during external audits
• Manage customer complaints and non-conformance findings
• Assist the management team on all matters pertaining to quality assurance and quality control

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in QA/QC
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
