Job summary

Kawan Food Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a quality assurance professional to lead complaint handling, investigations, and quality validation activities across CCP, allergen, process and projects. You will conduct GMP inspections and contribute to FSMS, certification and supplier audits.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Food Science/Technology or related field, with 3–5 years in QA in the food industry, and demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/Technology or related field.
• Experience with BRCGS Standards and ISO 22000 / FSSC22000.
• 3–5 years in Quality Assurance in the food industry.
• Translate operational needs into clear, actionable plans, deliverables and resources.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal abilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.

In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with BRCGS Standards and ISO 22000/FSSC22000 is essential.

A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role or a closely related position within the food industry is required.

Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating operational and departmental needs into clear, actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements.

Must have excellent solid Analytical and Problem solving skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities and a proven ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented environments.

Ability to work independently under pressure, strong attention to detail and compliance mindset.

Familiar with Root Cause Analysis tools, Trend Analysis and Quality Management Systems
