Job summary

S & P Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead the Quality Assurance and Food Safety functions at our Perak manufacturing facility. The role ensures all products meet food safety, quality, regulatory and customer requirements.

The successful candidate will lead the QA/QC team, manage food safety systems, audits, laboratory activities and customer complaints while driving continuous improvement across the factory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years in quality assurance within food manufacturing.
• At least two years in a managerial role.
• Experience in dairy production and aseptic manufacturing is valued.

The successful candidate will lead the QA/QC team, manage food safety systems, audits, laboratory activities, product quality issues and customer complaints, while driving continuous improvement across the factory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry, including at least two years in a managerial role.
• Experience in dairy production and aseptic manufacturing is highly valued and an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, Halal and food-safety regulations.
• Experience in quality management systems, internal and external audits, regulatory compliance, supplier quality and customer-complaint investigations.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to lead the QA team and collaborate effectively with Production, R&D and other departments.
