Job summary

AMC Cincaria Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the QA function and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in Malaysia.

You will lead the Quality Department, implement SOPs and WI, train production staff, manage non-conformances, coordinate CAPA activities, and ensure products meet all quality specifications while maintaining CFR feedback with customers.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership to head the Quality Department.
• Experience implementing SOPs and work instructions (WI).
• Ability to coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Experience addressing IQA/IPQA/OQA and customer quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Review quality plans to define quality objectives, responsibilities, procedures, methods, and audit programs.
• Lead quality improvement projects across production.
• Coordinate process capability studies to verify capability to meet specifications.
• Attend to and work with customers on quality issues and CFR feedback.
• Coordinate non-conformance resolution and preventive actions.
• Manage QA inventory and ensure SOPs/WIs are in place.

Job description

Review Quality Plans which will define the quality objectives, responsibilities, procedures, methods, work instructions, inspection, testing and audit programs for new products or processes.

To provide proper training for all production levels to ensure the smooth operation of each and every project, ensuring the following criteria are met:

Verify that the equipment and tooling used in the manufacturing processes are adequately and accurate.

To lead and initiate for quality improvement projects.

To establish and head the Quality Department whose main function is continuous improvement of all aspects of the company's Operations.

To stop production when three (3) consecutive rejects during the manufacturing process.

Conduct on the job training for Incoming Quality Assurance (IQA), In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) and Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) from time to time.

To coordinate process capability studies to verify production processes are capable of producing in accordance with the product specification.

Attend to and work with customers on any quality issues.

To resolve Non Conformance Issue and coordinating corrective and preventive actions.

Reviewing and verify data from the QA Engineers for analysis, improvement and control activities to prevent defects.

To implement cost saving programs for the QA department.

To be in-charge of QA inventory.

To respond to customer(s) if there is quality issue by using the CFR feedback.

To ensure proper processing, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) are set in place for all areas of the QA section.

Parts must be approved according to the procedure set in place.

To set up a system for samples (storage, verification, etc.).

To ensure every department of the organization is fulfilling their functions and duties, which contributes to the success of maintaining and improving the Quality Assurance Policy.
