Job summary

Multi Mould Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform IQC, IPQC and FQC according to inspection plans and drawings.

You will verify dimensions, appearance and functionality, record results, and read GD&T using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other gauges. CMM/profile projectors experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• A certificate/ Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality Assurance from local vocational institutions is highly favored.
• Experience in QC inspection or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiar with measuring instruments and basic QC tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform IQC, IPQC and FQC according to inspection plan and drawing requirements.
• Verify product dimensions, appearance and functionality using measuring instruments.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation accurately.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming products; issue NCRs when required.

Job description

Perform incoming (IQC), in-process (IPQC) and final inspection (FQC) according to inspection plan and drawing requirements

Verify product dimensions, appearance and functionality using measuring instruments

Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation accurately

Identify and segregate non-conforming products

Issue and follow up on NCR (Non-Conformance Report) when required

Qualification/ Experience/ Skills/ Knowledge:

A certificate/ Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality Assurance from local vocational institutions (like IKM, ILP) is highly favored.

Experience in QC inspection or manufacturing environment preferred

Able to read engineering drawings and specifications such as GD&T

Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge and thread gauge

Familiar with basic QC tools and inspection methods

Able to use a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), profile projectors, height gauges, and conventional micrometers to inspect critical geometric tolerances are highly advantages
