Job summary

PV Metal Engineering Sdn Bhd invites a Quality Assurance Executive to join our team in Johor Bahru. You will perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality inspections, and ensure ISO 9001:2015 is established and maintained.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in engineering with at least 2 years QC experience, understanding of ISO 9001, and the ability to work with multiple departments. Sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering with at least 2 years QC experience in ISO/GMP/HACCP manufacturing.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Strong communication and teamwork; able to work independently.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-coming, in-process, and out-going quality inspection.
• Ensure ISO 9001:2015 quality system established, implemented and maintained.
• Initiate internal quality audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Handle customer complaints and corrective actions (NCR, CAR).
• Maintain and update quality SOP/manual in line with latest practices.
• Prepare assembly reports and paperwork.
• Coordinate with departments on quality issues.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Job description

To perform In-coming, In-process, Out-going Quality Inspection.

To ensure the quality system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015.

To initiate internal quality audit and liaise with external auditor.

Participate in the internal audit functions, ISO 9001,audit preparation before Certification Body audit

To handle customer complaint and feedback promptly (eg. NCR and CAR).

To amend & update the written quality SOP/manual in accordance to the latest practice/customer requirement.

To complete all necessary assembly reporting and required paperwork

To Coordinate with various departments on Quality issues.

Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time.

Requirement

1. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering with at least 2 years quality control working experience in ISO/GMP/HACCP manufacturing environment. Experience working in Sheet Metal Fabrication is an advantage

2. Understanding of ISO 9001.
