seeks a QA/QC Executive (Manufacturing/Engineering) to conduct incoming inspections, respond to quality issues, and support containment actions on the production line. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 1 year QA/QC experience in precision engineering, GD&T knowledge, proficiency with Calipers, Micrometers, CMM, and ISO 9001/IATF 16949, plus fluent English and Malay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, or Quality Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on QA/QC experience in manufacturing or precision engineering.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
• Hands-on proficiency with calipers, micrometers, Smartscope, and CMM.
• Knowledge of quality tools (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 knowledge is mandatory.
• Fluent in English and Malay for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming inspections on raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies per specifications and sampling plans.
• Investigate customer quality complaints and RMAs using root cause analysis tools (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
• Respond to production line stoppages and execute containment actions to prevent defects.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and audit supplier production processes.
• Prepare inspection datasheets, SIPs, and quality check sheets.
• Monitor SPC charts and compute Cp, Cpk for critical dimensions.
• Operate and maintain precision measuring equipment.

Its operations center on high-precision machining, automated assembly lines, and rigorous quality assurance processes aligned with international standards. Job Description

Conduct incoming inspections on raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to technical specifications and sampling plans.

Investigate customer quality complaints and returned goods (RMA) using root cause analysis tools such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams.

Respond to production line stoppage alerts and execute containment actions to prevent defective parts from reaching downstream processes.

Monitor supplier quality performance metrics and conduct audits on supplier production processes.

Prepare and standardize inspection datasheets, standard inspection procedures (SIP), and quality check sheets.

Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and compute process capability indices (Cp, Cpk) for critical dimensions.

Operate and maintain precision measuring equipment including Vernier calipers, micrometers, Smartscope, and CMM.

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday until 6:0 PM); required to work 6-8 Saturdays per year.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, or Quality Engineering.

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in QA/QC functions within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.

Proficient in reading engineering drawings and understanding GD&T symbols.

Hands-on proficiency in operating precision equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Smartscope, and CMM.

Knowledge of quality tools including 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.

Mandatory knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.

Proficient in both English and Malay to communicate with various stakeholders.
