Job summary

KMWE Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a quality inspection professional to verify incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and products for adherence to specifications. You will visually and instrumentally inspect items and read drawings to document quality, while coordinating with Production, Engineering, Store and Logistics to keep QC processes on track.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Engineering or 1–3 years’ experience, is detail-oriented and able to work well with others in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or related field, or 1 to 3 years relevant working experience.
• Able to read, understand and interpret technical drawings.
• Able to handle QA measuring instruments and equipment.
• Knowledge of CMM operation and programming is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and work well with people.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and products for quality and compliance.
• Reject and return unacceptable materials as needed.
• Perform visual and measurement inspections using QA equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and inspection documents.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Store and Logistics to ensure timely QC processes.

Job description

Inspect incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards, that includes rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

Perform visual and measurement inspections using QA measuring instruments and equipment.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and inspection documents.

Report quality issues and follow up on corrective actions to QA Supervisor.

Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Store, and Logistics to ensure smooth quality control processes timely.

Maintain inspection equipment and ensure a safe and organized work environment.

Support other duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or related field, or 1 to 3 years relevant working experience.

Able to read, understand and interpret technical drawings.

Able to handle QA measuring instruments and equipment.
