To coordinate and maintain Food Safety, Quality and Halal Management Systems within all Business Unit by ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory and company requirements through complaint management, investigations, audits, allergen control, quality monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate Halal compliance activities within the assigned BU.
- Investigate customer complaints and prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA and investigation reports.
- Lead foreign material investigations and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate product write-off and disposal processes according to company procedures.
- Support internal, customer, certification and regulatory audits, including follow-up of audit findings.
- Coordinate allergen monitoring and verification activities.
- Promote Food Safety & Quality Culture through training, awareness and communication programme.
- Maintain QA documentation, records and reports.
- Monitor compliance with Food Safety, Quality and customer standards.
- Support continuous improvement projects and quality initiatives.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Skills:
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Halal and Food Safety Management Systems (FSSC).
- Strong analytical and investigation skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Good report writing and documentation skills.
- Effective communication with both internal and external partied and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- A responsible, honest, takes initiative, self-motivated, team player, committed, well organized, willing to learn and punctual.
- Good communication skill both in Bahasa Malaysia and English (oral and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Experience:
- Min 2-3 years experiences in food safety, quality assurance, warehousing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/ Food Technology, Quality Assurance, or any relevant.
- Certified Food Handler, Certified TTT and Certified Internal Auditor (Halal & FSSC 22000) are preferred and will be an added advantage.
