Job summary

MY GLOBAL ELECTRICS SDN. BHD. is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead transformer product sourcing, contract management, and supplier coordination in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, extensive procurement experience in large-scale manufacturing, and strong negotiation, data analysis, and cross-department collaboration. Fluency in Chinese, English, and Malay is preferred, with excellent communication skills a must.

Qualifications

• Participate in bidding, inquiries and pricing to ensure project quality and progress.
• Coordinate with internal departments to execute procurement activities efficiently.
• Manage full-process control of supplier deliveries, contracts, amendments and delivery issues.

Job description

Responsible for the management and execution of procurement activities for transformer products, ensuring the smooth operation of the procurement process.

Key responsibilities

Formulate and implement the company's procurement strategies and plans to ensure effective control of procurement budgets and requirements

Conduct market research, collect supplier information, draft procurement contracts, and coordinate with suppliers to complete procurement tasks

Participate in the selection and evaluation of procurement projects, as well as bidding, inquiry, and pricing processes, to ensure the quality and progress of procurement projects

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the normal execution and efficient implementation of procurement activities

Manage full-process control of supplier deliveries, including contract signing and execution tracking, contract amendments, and handling of delivery anomalies

About you

Full-time bachelor's degree or above

Experience in procurement management in large-scale manufacturing is required

Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are preferred

Fluent in Chinese, English, and Malay

Familiar with procurement processes and methods

Strong supply chain management and procurement negotiation skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, adept at coordinating work across internal departments

Strong numerical processing and data analysis skills, capable of analyzing and optimizing procurement data
