Job summary

YSK MAJU VENTURES SDN BHD is seeking a Purchasing & Sourcing Executive in Selayang to drive supplier sourcing, price negotiation and PO management. You will collaborate with Sales, Warehouse and Finance to secure competitive pricing and timely deliveries, supporting the company’s growth.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Purchasing or related field with 2–5 years of experience, strong negotiation skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or sourcing.
• Experience in China sourcing or overseas supplier management is a plus.
• Experience in fresh products, wholesale or F&B is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good understanding of purchasing, sourcing and supply chain processes.
• Proficient in English and Malay; Mandarin is an advantage for supplier communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, follow up proactively and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop new suppliers and factories, locally and overseas, especially from China.
• Conduct supplier research and obtain quotations, samples and product specifications.
• Compare suppliers based on price, quality, MOQ, lead time, capacity and service.
• Negotiate prices, MOQ, payment terms, delivery lead time and other commercial terms.
• Manage the purchasing process from quotation and purchase order through to delivery.
• Maintain and develop good relationships with existing suppliers and factories.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, price and delivery.
• Follow up on quality issues, shortages, delays and other supplier-related problems.
• Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, Finance and Logistics teams to ensure purchasing requirements are met.
• Monitor inventory and purchasing requirements to avoid stock shortages and excessive inventory.

This is a full-time position responsible for supplier sourcing, purchasing, price negotiation, purchase order management and supplier performance. The role will work closely with our Sales, Warehouse and Finance teams to ensure products are sourced at competitive prices, meet our quality requirements and are delivered on time. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting our business growth through effective sourcing, cost control and supplier management.
