Job summary

Food System Asia Sdn Bhd in Kota Kemuning, Selangor, invites motivated students and recent graduates to join its Purchasing/Procurement team on a structured internship. You will gain hands-on exposure to daily purchasing, supplier coordination, and documentation in a manufacturing setting.

You will support cost tracking, supplier records, and order follow-ups while developing communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing/Procurement.
• Studies in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration are acceptable.
• Familiarity with purchasing, procurement, or supply chain processes is preferred.
• Must have good communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Purchasing and Procurement team in daily purchasing and procurement activities
• Support sourcing and coordination with suppliers for quotations, product availability, and pricing
• Assist in preparing and maintaining purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and other purchasing documents
• Assist with order tracking and follow up with suppliers on delivery status
• Support supplier coordination and maintain updated supplier and purchasing records
• Assist in monitoring purchasing costs, orders, and inventory requirements
• Comply with safety, quality, and company procedures
