Job summary

Sato Malaysia Electronic Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. in Bukit Raja Klang, Selangor, is offering a Procurement Intern position within the Procurement Department.

The internship duration is 3–6 months, with potential for full-time employment based on performance. You will assist in sourcing suppliers, prepare quotations, issue Purchase Orders, maintain supplier records, and support cost-saving initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or related field.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) as the role requires communication with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and business partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Able to start in September 2026.
• Internship allowance provided.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.
• Prepare quotation comparison and purchasing reports.
• Issue Purchase Orders and follow up with suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal departments if required.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier database.
• Support cost-saving and supplier performance initiatives.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Unit Leader.
