Job summary

Schneider Electric in Malaysia (Selangor) invites a motivated Procurement Intern to support the Procurement and Supply Chain team in daily purchasing and supplier management activities. You will gain hands-on experience in sourcing, RFQ management, purchase orders, cost analysis, and procurement operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn ERP-based processes, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives while developing practical skills in supplier coordination and spend

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in RFQ preparation and supplier quotation evaluation.
• Support supplier onboarding and qualification activities.
• Create and process purchase orders in ERP systems.
• Prepare procurement reports and spend analysis.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on procurement needs.
• Participate in procurement and supplier meetings as required.
