Job summary

Aceprintmy in Malaysia is offering a procurement internship in Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam. You will assist in sourcing, issue POs, and coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and finance to ensure timely, compliant import shipments.

Gain hands-on experience in purchasing records, market research, and supplier evaluation. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with potential conversion to permanent staff after successful internship completion.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field
• Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an added advantage/ preferred as the role requires communication with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking suppliers
• Minimum 3 to 6 months, subject to university requirements
• Preference will be given to candidates who are available for permanent employment upon successful completion of the internship.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Able to work in Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and obtaining quotations from suppliers
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) under supervision
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, production schedules, and delivery status
• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery of imported goods
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs brokers regarding import shipments
• Ensure import documents are complete and comply with company and regulatory requirements
• Update purchasing records in import’s folder
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to arrange cargo receipt and stock arrival
• Liaise with finance on supplier invoices, payment status, and cost reconciliation
• Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, or documentation issues
• Maintain and organize supplier and purchasing records
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, shipment status, and outstanding orders
• Support the purchasing team with market research, supplier evaluation, and price comparisons
• Coordinate with internal teams for purchasing and administrative duties as assigned
• Perform other related duties, ad hoc tasks, and projects as assigned by the superior from time to time
