Job summary

Sato Malaysia Electronic Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. in Bukit Raja Klang, Selangor, offers a Procurement Intern position in the Procurement Department. Internship duration is a minimum 3–6 months, starting September 2026.

You will assist in sourcing suppliers, prepare quotations, issue Purchase Orders, and maintain supplier databases while learning about cost-saving initiatives in a manufacturing setting. Excellent Mandarin/English communication and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.
• Prepare quotation comparison and purchasing reports.
• Issue Purchase Orders and follow up with suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal departments as required.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier database.
• Support cost-saving and supplier performance initiatives.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Unit Leader.
